Players could control four characters at one time and also had a chance to unlock 30 playable characters by completing quests. Two unique combat skills: a normal and a special ability were available for each style. Both of these skills had different roles to play.

One could explore various objects and places spread throughout the vast map. Even characters could have control over one of seven natural elements like Cryo, Dendro, Pyro, Hydro, Anemo, Electro, and Geo.

Another fun aspect of Genshin Impact‘s gameplay is cooking. Some resources gathered in the course of the player’s adventure could be turned into dishes via cooking.
