Residential Charger Rebate

If you are a BGE residential customer, live in a single-family house and install a Level 2 (240v) smart charger at your home, you may be eligible for a $300 rebate.* Upgrading to a Level 2 smart charger allows you to charge your EV significantly faster than with a standard Level 1 (120v) charger. It also provides an option to better control (and even schedule) when your vehicle charges by using an optional smartphone app.

If you are a multifamily property manager or owner, or homeowners association, you may be eligible to receive incentives up to $25,000* for the installation of Level 2 smart chargers or DC fast chargers at your property. EVsmart Charger Finder

BGE launched an EV charging network in Maryland in fall 2019. As the charging network rolls out, EV drivers will have the option to charge their vehicles at any of the 500 BGE-owned Level 2 smart chargers or DC fast chargers throughout the BGE service area. BGE’s charging rates are comparable to other public charging options and give drivers the flexibility and peace of mind to drive farther than ever before.
