Customer bills will increase effective with usage starting on Feb. 1, 2022 and as authorized by the Maryland Public Service Commission will be partially reduced by certain tax benefits. With the rate adjustment and offsets approved by the PSC, the average residential electric bill will increase by $3.28 per month and the average residential natural gas bill will increase by $2.40 per month. Grant Description
Environmental stewardship is one of BGE’s core values. Due to our commitment to use natural resources responsibly, prevent pollution and, improve energy efficiency, BGE GREEN GRANTS are being offered to communities within the BGE's service area. These grants complement our environmental giving and are part of steps to link our employees to the communities they live and work in.

ECO Team
The Employee Resource Group, ECO Team, focuses on events and volunteering in our community that support Exelon and BGE's commitment to the environment by promoting, supporting and driving "green" business practices. Previous events have included maintenance at the Irvine Nature Center, Recycling with the Ravens, Urban Farming at Whitelock, and more.
Volunteering
BGE often puts the passion of our employees to good use through volunteering. BGE has supported many volunteer opportunities that have an environmental focus.
